Public Notice - Solicitors for MBTA Communities Multi-Family Zoning Requirement

On November 11th, 2024, a number of residents reported receiving a visit from solicitors regarding the multi-family zoning requirement for MBTA Communities. Please note that the Town of Halifax has no affiliation with this group, nor were we aware that this would be taking place. Any employee of the Town of Halifax visiting your home would have proper identification and would not be advocating on political topics in their official capacity with the Town.

We remind all residents that should you have a public safety concern, please contact the Halifax Police or Halifax Fire Departments. Furthermore, should you wish to report a concern to the Board of Selectmen, please contact the Board of Selectmen's office by calling (781) 294-1316 or e-mailing [email protected] as we do not regularly monitor social media.
