Kindergarten 2022-2023 Registration

We are reaching out to families to gather information for incoming kindergarten registration for 2022-2023.  At this time, we ask families to complete the Pre-Registration Form below so that we may begin to generate our contact list.  Please share this information with any families that may have a child who is eligible for entering kindergarten this Fall.  The other dates listed below are tentative and we will keep you updated as we get closer to finalizing our plans.

• Kindergarten Pre-Registration Opens Today
  • This is a pre registration form for parents and/or guardians to indicate if they plan to send their child to Kindergarten at Halifax Elementary School in the 2022-2023 school year. (Child must be five years old by August  31, 2022.) The form will be used for planning purposes only and a packet will need to be filled out to complete the registration process.

  • Kindergarten Registration Window opens on Monday, February 7, 2022 
  • Registration packets are available in the main office or at hes.slrsd.org.
• Parent Information Meeting
  • Wednesday, April 13, 2022 @ 5:30 pm 
• School Tour/Story Hour
  • Monday, May 16, 2022 @ 10:00 am
• Kindergarten Screening (tentative):   
  • Wednesday, August 31, 2022 and Thursday, September 1, 2022 
• Kindergarten Open House (tentative):  
  • Tuesday, September 6, 2022
• Kindergarten Start Date (tentative):  
  • Wednesday, September 7, 2022
