"HaliFacts" - Halifax's Online Community Forum


In support of the Board of Selectmen’s FY 2024 goals established earlier this year, specifically goal four (4)—to improve communication and transparency with the public, we are excited to announce the launch of our new online community forum, HaliFacts. The site can be accessed by visiting www.halifax-ma.org/forum.

This platform is intended to serve as an alternative method for residents, community members, and visitors to ask questions and find answers regarding a variety of issues, projects, and initiatives in the Town.

In most cases, the Town receives multiple inquiries from the public asking or requesting the same information on a particular topic; this platform consolidates those inquiries in a centralized area allowing residents and community members to get the answers they need quickly and easily.

All posts will be reviewed and responded to within four (4) business days and all responses will be provided by a Town Official. When the Town responds to a post, both the post and response will be made visible publicly on the forum. In certain cases, depending on the topic or scope of a post, it may take more than four (4) business days for the Town to provide a response.
