Update - 3/11/2022 6:15 AM: The remaining quantity of Free at-home test kits are still available at the Fire Station, 438 Plymouth Street. Test kits will be available Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm on a first-come first-served basis. Proof of residency is required. Please call the Halifax Fire Department with any questions at (781) 293-1751.


Update - 2/14/2022 7:10 PM: The remaining quantity of Free at home tests kits are being distributed at the Town Hall Board of Health office and the Fire Station. Until supplies run out the test kits will be available from Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, for any residents that were unable to attend the drive-thru event.

The Fireworks Committee and Food Pantry want to extend their gratitude for the generous donations.


Weather permitting, the Town of Halifax will distribute 2,520 FREE COVID-19 rapid test kits to Halifax Residents. There will be a limit of 2 kits, which includes 4 tests - 2 tests in each kit, per household. A photo ID showing proof of Halifax residency is required. The distribution will be conducted in a drive-thru format at the Halifax Town Hall on February 12th, 2022 from 10 am to 4 pm or until the supplies last.

Please enter though the Hemlock Lane Town Hall parking lot entrance. All drive-thru traffic will be directed to exit onto Plymouth Street (Route 106). Tests are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and reservations will not be accepted.

Please consider bringing a non-perishable item to donate to the Halifax Congregational Food Pantry.
