Cooling Shelter Available - July 27th & July 28th

In preparation of the extreme heat forecasted for our area, the Town of Halifax, in coordination with the Halifax Mobile Home Estates Association, will be opening a cooling shelter for all Halifax residents. The shelter will be located at Henrich Hall, 33 Redwood Drive and open from 9 am to 9 pm on Thursday, July 27th, 2023, and Friday, July 28th, 2023.

Any resident who is unable to travel to the cooling shelter and requires transportation assistance may call the Council on Aging at (781) 293-7313, between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm, to request transportation services. If you require emergency services, please call 9-1-1.
