Capital Planning Committee - Vacancy

The Halifax Board of Selectmen is seeking a Halifax resident to serve on the Town's Capital Planning Committee. The Committee reviews requests from departments for projects including but not limited to vehicles and building improvements that have a cost greater than $20,000 and will last five years or more and makes recommendations to the Finance Committee concerning funding. The Committee includes the Town Accountant and representatives from the Finance Committee and the Board of Selectmen along with two residents at-large. Most meetings are held during the winter months in January through March based on the schedules of the members.
