2024 Annual Town Meeting & Town Election - Important Dates

The Town's 2024 Annual Town Meeting is scheduled to occur on Monday, May 13th, 2024, and the 2024 Annual Town Election is scheduled to occur on Saturday, May 18th, 2024.

Important deadlines regarding this year's Annual Town Election are listed below.

• Obtain Nomination Papers: March 29th, 2024
• Submit Nomination Papers for Certification: March 29th, 2024
• Object or Withdraw: April 17th, 2024
• Register to Vote (for Town Meeting and Town Election): May 3rd, 2024 
• Apply for a Mail-In Ballot: May 13th, 2024 by 5 pm
• Apply for an Absentee Ballot: May 17th, 2024 by 12 pm

Candidates must obtain a minimum of thirty-five (35) signatures from registered voters. The Town Clerk strongly recommends all candidates obtain at least five (5) additional signatures.
