Event Date:
Saturday, December 11, 2021 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm

UPDATE 12/10/2021: The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting strong to damaging winds to impact Massachusetts Saturday into Saturday night. Timing for the winds will begin Saturday afternoon with the strongest coming in from south to southwest. Strongest winds will change to west – northwest late Saturday night.  Maximum wind gusts are expected to reach 40-55 mph.

Considering this most recent forecast, the Holidays in Halifax Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the Holidays in Halifax celebration that was to be held tomorrow night, Saturday 12/11/21.  The beautiful tree, donated by Rockland Trust Company will be illuminated on the town green starting this evening and the ice sculpture will be crafted next week for all to enjoy.  A very big thank you to our other donors as well; North Easton Savings Bank, Flower and Soul and Bill Wall.  Your kindness and generosity exemplifies the pride and spirit of our wonderful community.

We apologize for the cancellation and hope everyone has a happy and safe Holiday!

The Town of Halifax will hold an outdoor version of Holidays in Halifax this year on Saturday, December 11 from 5pm to 7pm. Highlights include a tree lighting at 5pm, ice sculpture, live performances, live animals, a reading of The Night Before Christmas and a visit from Santa. There will be food trucks set up in the Library parking lot where you can purchase your favorite treats. Everyone is welcome to attend.
