Alcohol License - BYOB

You may bring alcohol to a restaurant without an alcohol license, as long as:

(a)     There is no charge directly or indirectly by the proprietor of the establishment.

(b)     The consumer carries the beverages in themselves.

(c)     The bottle or can is in the customer's exclusive possession.  Two people cannot share a bottle of wine or a can of beer.  Otherwise you have one person making delivery to another in a place that is not a residence.

(d)     The customer must leave with whatever alcohol the customer does not consume.  However, having an opened alcoholic beverage container in your vehicle is a criminal offense.
