Door-to-Door Soliciting Permits

After consulting with the Halifax Board of Health, we have been advised that because of Covid-19, Solicitors walking up to people’s homes are a high “RISK” to public safety and health initiatives.  Therefore, effective immediately, all Door-to-Door Soliciting Permits have been put on hold and no others will be issued by the Halifax Police Department until further notice.  Should you have any questions regarding the safety of Door-to-Door Soliciting, please contact the Halifax Board of Health at (781) 293-6768.
