Monponsett Pond Beach Parking Permits - May 26th through September 1st, 2025

The East and West Monponsett Pond beach parking lots (Fourth Ave./Lingan St. and Holmes St./Route 36) will require a valid beach parking sticker beginning on Monday, May 26th, 2025, through Monday, September 1st, 2025.
Beach parking stickers may be obtained by completing a Beach Parking Permit application through the town’s online permitting and licensing system. Applicants must attach a copy of their state-issued driver's license or identification (ID) card as well as a copy of their vehicle registration for which the beach parking sticker will be applied to. All applications must be submitted online to be processed through the Board of Selectmen's office. A beach parking sticker will be issued upon the successful review of an application.
Halifax residents may obtain a beach parking sticker at no cost. Residents who have obtained a recycling sticker for the current year may utilize their recycling sticker as their beach parking sticker. If you are enrolled into the Town's curbside collection program but have not obtained a recycling sticker for the current year, you may pick one up at the Recycling Center, 917 Plymouth Street.
Up to ten (10) non-resident beach parking stickers will be issued for a fee of one hundred dollars ($100) per sticker/vehicle.
Any vehicle parked at the Fourth Ave./Lingan St. or Holmes St./Route 36 beach parking lots without a valid beach parking sticker (or recycling sticker for the current year) will be issued a citation in the amount of fifty dollars ($50) by the Halifax Police Department.
