Kindergarten 2023-2024 Registration

We are reaching out to families to gather information for incoming kindergarten registration for 2023-2024. At this time, we ask families to complete the Pre-Registration Form below so that we may begin to generate our contact list. Please share this information with any families that may have a child who is eligible for entering kindergarten this Fall. The other dates listed below are tentative and we will keep you updated as we get closer to finalizing our plans.

Kindergarten Pre-Registration: This is a pre registration form for parents and/or guardians to indicate if they plan to send their child to Kindergarten at Halifax Elementary School in the 2023-2024 school year. (Child must be five years old by August 31, 2023.) The form will be used for planning purposes only and a packet will need to be filled out to complete the registration process.

HES 2023-2024 Kindergarten Pre-Registration Form 

Kindergarten Registration: Kindergarten Registration Window opens on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Registration packets are available in the main office or at hes.slrsd.org. Completed packets can be scanned and emailed to [email protected] or returned to the main office.

School Tour/Story Hour: TBD

Kindergarten Screening (tentative): Wednesday, August 30, 2023 and Thursday, August 31, 2023

Kindergarten Open House (tentative): Wednesday, September 6, 2023

Kindergarten Start Date (tentative): Thursday, September 7, 2023
