COVID Vaccination Schedule
The Health Department understands that the community is anxious to find out where and when the vaccination clinics will start. The guidance for prioritization of the COVID-19 vaccine is a three-phase process. Phase one started in December and runs through February, Phase two February through April, and phase three April through June. Timing is estimated and subject to Federal allotment and shipment deliveries. The process is evolving and subject to change daily. When firm plans on where, when, and how vaccinations will occur,the Halifax Health Department will get the information out on all forms of media. It is great to know so many people desire the vaccination. Remember even after you are vaccinated, proper protocols on social distancing, mask wearing, and hand washing will still need to be adhered to.
