Road Block Permit

The Halifax Board of Selectmen issues permits for road blocks for events such as block parties. The applicant submits request in writing providing the following information: Name, Address, Date for road block, Period of time road is to be blocked, Schematic showing the exact location(s) the road will be closed, Name of person to be in charge and sober at all times. An application form is available. All applications should be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the event. The permit fee is $5.
