Medical Marijuana

    The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has information about various medical marijuana programs.

     One aspect of these programs allows for people who cannot get to licensed dispensaries to cultivate their own small amount of marijuana.  This is called “Hardship Cultivation.”

     The hardship cultivation registration program has not been implemented by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.  When it is (possibly by the end of 2014), patients will be able to submit applications for registration online.  

     The Town will not play a role in the registration process and patients will not apply to the Town for any permits in connection with the hardship cultivation program.
