Hazardous Waste Collection

The Town of Halifax holds Hazardous Waste Day events every other year. The next scheduled collection event is TBD. All hazardous waste being collected and discarded must be in their originally labeled and sealed containers. Containers that are leaking and/or rusted will not be accepted. No commercial or industrial hazardous waste will be accepted.

Anyone with proof of Halifax residency may participate at no charge. Participation in this year's collection event does not require being enrolled into any of the Town's trash and recycling programs or services, such as, Curbside Collection and Recycling Center services.
