Route 106 Road Construction

Road construction of Route 106 will begin on Monday, April 25th, 2022 and will last between seven (7) and ten (10) working days.

During parts of the construction, only West-bound traffic will be permitted on Rt. 106 and East-bound traffic will be detoured through Carver Street onto South Street. From South Street, take a left onto Franklin Street. Franklin Street turns into Center Street in Plympton; stay on Center Street until Route 58. Take a left onto Rt. 58 and that will bring you back onto Rt. 106 at the Rt. 106/58 intersection (Cumberland Farms/Wal-Mart). There will be detour signs along the route to follow. They may not need to detour on all days of the construction; however, pay attention to the detail officers and workers and follow their instructions.
