SLRHS Veteran Appreciation Day: November 8, 2019

Silver Lake Regional High School is excited to announce plans for our 3rd Annual Veteran Appreciation Day. We have organized this event to recognize and appreciate the men and women from our community who have proudly served in the United States Armed Forces. Local veterans are invited to come to Silver Lake Regional High School on Friday November 8, 2019 from 9:30 -10:30 am to attend a special appreciation ceremony organized by staff and students which will include musical performances, speeches, and a special video production.

If you are a local veteran and are interested in attending the appreciation ceremony, please contact Melissa Fontaine, Social Studies Department Chairperson, by Friday October 18, 2019. As part of plans for the ceremony, we also request that veterans please submit a photograph of themselves for use in a special project created by staff and students. Photo submissions can be sent to [email protected] or by mail to the high school (attn: Melissa Fontaine.) Original copies of photographs will be returned. Thank you so much for your consideration!
