East Monponsett Pond - Treatment for Weeds - August 24

The last of this year's treatments in East Monponsett Pond in Halifax to reduce the amounts of non-native and invasive weeds in the pond will occur on Monday, August 24. Use of water from the Pond for drinking, cooking, boating, fishing and swimming is not recommend on Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25. The water should not be used for irrigation until Thursday, September 24.
